OSF private event for opening weekend

Ashland, Ore., — Some of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s closest friends and family get an inside look at the new season, that kicks off this weekend.

The festival’s artistic director — Bill Rauch gave a talk this morning at the old Ashland Armory.

The private event gave attendees some behind the scenes insight an inside look in to the season, Rauch himself, and much more.

“We picked them over a year ago, we’ve been working on them, and now suddenly to have the audience laugh, cry, gasp in unison at each of the stories – that’s what I live for.” said Rauch.

Rauch has been OSF’s artistic director for the last ten years.

They do an event like this every opening weekend.

The festival opened yesterday with Julius Caesar, and three more plays open today and tomorrow.
