OSU monitoring Covid-19 in wastewater at the World Athletic Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon State University will be monitoring Covid-19 in wastewater at the World Athletics Championships in Eugene.

OSU will be working with the University of Oregon at the event.

Scientists say the event offers the perfect real-time laboratory, as it gathers people from across the country and the world.

Testing will be done for Covid-19 as well as other viruses of interest like the flu and measles.
