Pacific Power calls in additional crews to help restore power

Southern Oregon — Pacific Power customers in both Jackson and Josephine Counties experienced power outages Tuesday and Wednesday

According to Pacific power, nearly 12,000 customers were without power by mid-morning Wednesday. The areas most affected were Cave Junction, Selma, Kerby and Rogue River. There were additional scattered outages west of Grants Pass.

Due to the extent of the damage, Pacific Power was not able to provide estimated times of restoration for all affected customers. The company called in additional crews from as far away as Portland and were working to restore service as quickly and safely as possible.

For updates, Pacific Power customers can call 1-877-508-5088.
