Medford, Ore., — The eighth annual “Parks Uncorked” event in Pear Blossom Park was tonight.
The wine event hosted by the Medford Parks and Recreation Foundation and the Medford Rogue Rotary Club helps raise awareness and funds for the “Play Every Day Scholarship Fund”
Director of Parks and Recreation, Brian Sjothun says “The purpose is to provide scholarships for kids to take swimming lessons, day camps and send kids to the Rotary Club to a leadership academy.”
Over the last seven years the event has raised $75,000 dollars and provided 1500 children with recreational opportunities.
