CENTRAL POINT, Ore. – A pedestrian was struck and killed on Interstate 5 Tuesday night.
Oregon State Police said at about 8:25 p.m., a semi-truck traveling southbound hit someone near milepost 34. The person, who hasn’t been publicly identified, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The semi-truck driver is coopering with the investigation.
Police released no further information about the incident.
