Columbia County, Ore. – Police say they have captured a person of interest in the murder of Apache Rose Hightower.
NBC affiliate KGW reports 28-year-old Jesse Allen Lane was taken into custody on Thursday in Santa Barbara, California.
His extradition hearing is scheduled for Friday.
Hightower’s body was found in a rural area of Columbia County on September 20th. After an investigation, police classified Hightower as the victim of homicidal violence.
