Roseburg school enters lockdown

0929-phoenix-charter-school-roseburgRoseburg, Ore. – Phoenix Charter School in Roseburg entered a full lockdown Thursday morning after a threatening piece of graffiti was found in a restroom.

The school said police responded immediately and worked with staff to assess the situation.

According to the school, police and staff began to release students to their parents after an hour. The campus remained on a modified lockdown for the rest of the day.

The school said classes will resume on Friday as normal. Nobody was injured or hurt during the incident.
