Jacksonville, Ore., — The Powerball Lottery hasn’t been won in nearly three months, so if someone is able to grab all five numbers and the red Powerball with the new numbers.
“So are you saying there’s gonna be a winner here?”
They’d be able to collect $422 million dollars.
“I want to win and never have to work again the rest of my life.” said one lottery player, Scott Jackson.
But the odds of that don’t come easy. With the chances being 1 in 300 million, you’re more likely to become an astronaut or get drafted by the NBA.
“Have you ever won anything? No never. Not even 5 bucks? No I’ve never won nothing!”
But Jacksonville locals say they won’t give up trying, after two mega wins within the last few years at Ray’s Food Place, it’s now deemed the lucky spot.
“There’s been so many winners here that I choose to come back here and play.” said another lottery player, Denise Bresg.
