Recreational marijuana dispensaries to start paying taxes to the state

Marijuana TaxesSalem, Ore. — The Oregon Department of Revenue says dispensaries must register with them so they can make a tax account for the business. Right now, only 120 of the 309 dispensaries selling recreational marijuana have an account.

Dispensaries set the price of their products, and then add the temporary 25 percent state tax on the recreational products. The revenue is turned in to the state.
