Red Cross steps in to help severe weather victims

Tillamook County, Ore.- Disaster responders with the American Red Cross Cascades Region are assisting people displaced by severe weather in Tillamook County.

The Red Cross has opened a shelter for people affected by the storm and the tornado which hit ten blocks of downtown Manzanita.

Red Cross volunteers and staff from throughout the region are mobilizing to respond to this disaster to help people in need and assess damage related to the storm. Individuals who wish to help relief efforts are asked to visit redcross.org or call 1-800 RED CROSS to donate to Disaster Relief.
