Update: 18 year old suspect arraigned on murder charge

Klamath Falls, Ore. – A Klamath Falls teen stood before a judge Wednesday to face a charge of murder.

18 year old Seth James Cunningham was arraigned Wednesday on charges including murder.

Cunningham is accused of shooting and killing 21 year old Aaron Dillon Andrews early Tuesday morning.

“We knew that they were both at the location.”  Stated Klamath County Deputy District Attorney David Schutt.  “There was a party doing on, and some disagreement developed, and it ended up in gunplay.”

Cunningham was taken into custody about 7 hours after the shooting.

Deputy D.A. Schutt says he plans to present evidence to a grand jury shortly.

“We’ll do a charging instrument, he’ll get charged with murder, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon, and tampering with physical evidence.”

Investigators say a weapon has been recovered.

The judge ordered that Cunningham remain held without bail.

No plea was entered, a bail hearing has been scheduled for January 6th before Judge Roxanne Osborne.
