Washington & Oregon — (KING) All 43 Pacific Northwest Chipotle locations are scheduled to re-open Wednesday after being closed for a week-and-a-half due to an E.coli outbreak that’s sickened at least 40 people.
The Chipotle stores impacted threw all of their food away. New shipments are expected to start Tuesday night.
A Chipotle spokesperson said workers have new procedures like double-washing produce. The spokesperson said Chipotle will review its distributors and test ingredients before it ever makes it to the restaurant.
Monday the state health department said tests did not find a source of E.coli.
