Ore. — Southern Oregon University students are back in the classroom Monday morning. Many students wrapped up the move in process over the weekend.
This marks the first year Southern Oregon University is run by a local board of trustees. This year could also be the largest freshman class in over a decade.
On the other side of the cascades, students at Oregon Institute of Technology are kicking off fall term.
Earlier this year, OIT President Maples stated Oregon has seen some of the highest increases in student enrollment in the nation.
