Some stretches of road in central and eastern Oregon will soon have a faster speed limit. A recently passed bill will allow drivers to travel 5 to 10 miles per hour faster starting March 1st.

On Interstate 84 between The Dalles and Idaho, the speed limit will increase from 65 to 70 miles an hour. Secondary highways will also see some changes, including highway 97 out of Klamath Falls.
