Ore. — Oregon’s Attorney General is suing a nation-wide nutritional company for allegedly violating state law.
The lawsuit alleges General Nutrition Corporation or GNC sold nutritional and dietary supplements containing illegal ingredients.
The lawsuit says GNC misrepresented certain products as lawful dietary supplements when they are actually unapproved drugs.
There are 25 GNC stores in Oregon selling thousands of those products in the past several years.
