Calif. — (KCRA) Investigators are working to identify human remains discovered by a group of young boys playing on the shore of California’s Folsom Lake.
12-year-old Greg Pearson immediately called his mother after he and two friends stumbled across the bones.
Veronica Pearson immediately called 911, and soon after, investigators arrived and began searching in the mud.
“I really want to know who this is and what happened,” Veronica Pearson said. “I have a heart. This is someone’s family member.”
Teeth were also found with the remains. Officials hope dental records will help identify the body.
