La Pine, Ore. — Three people are dead after a head on crash on US 97 north of La Pine.
Oregon State Police say a driver was trying to elude Deschutes County deputies around 9 pm on Tuesday, when the car crossed the center line and collided with another vehicle.
The driver was one of the three killed but the victims have not been identified.
The investigation is ongoing.
