Junction City, Ore. — A Eugene woman and a child are dead after a car crash on Highway 99 near Junction City.
Oregon State Police say the truck and trailer crossed the centerline, placing itself in the path of the Ford.
The truck driver had to be extricated and only suffered minor injuries. The driver of the Ford and a 3-month-old infant were taken to the hospital.
28-year-old Amanda Wall from Eugene was pronounced dead on scene. A 2-year-old boy was also taken to the hospital but was later declared dead.
The investigation is still ongoing.
