Grocery chain Haggen is filing for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. This comes after the store announced it was suing Albertson’s for one billion dollars at the beginning of September.
Haggen is also facing lawsuits of its own from Albertson’s workers and a Union.
In a statement on Tuesday Haggen says Albertson’s alleged attempts at sabotage ultimately led to the bankruptcy filing. Last month the chain announced the closure of its stores in Klamath Falls and one in Grants Pass.
