San Francisco, Calif. – A YouTube video that appears to show a San Francisco Police Department patrol car striking a cyclist on Bike to Work Day has prompted a police investigation.
NBC Bay Area reported that an SFPD spokesperson said the accident was being investigated as a collision as administrative in nature.
The spokesperson also said the officer called medical crews who transported the bicyclist from the scene.
