Medford, Ore. – According to Medford Police, a lot of counterfeit money is going around the Rogue Valley.
Police said some of the money have the words “FOR MOTION PICTURE USE ONLY” printed on them.
Other fake bills may be going around. MPD said the feel of the bills is important when determining whether or not it is a fake. Real money is cloth, and counterfeit is paper.
Officers said to hold up the money up to a light and look for the security strip, hologram, and color shifting ink.
