Showdown: Kaine Vs. Pence

nc_final_1500x845Farmville, Virginia (NBC News) — All eyes are on Farmville, Virginia tonight for the vice presidential debate.

Ahead of the the debate Hillary Clinton was in Pennsylvania, wondering aloud how to deal with Donald Trump being “mean to women.”

“We need to laugh at it. We need to refute it. We need to ignore it. And we need to stand up to it and especially the bullying,” Clinton told supporters.

Neither debaters are well known: Mike Pence is the governor of Indiana, Kaine a Virginia senator.

Their clash is in a college town in Kaine’s swing state, where Pence may have the tougher job.

He’ll have to explaining Trump’s treatment of women, his suggestion vets with PTSD are “not strong”, along with the Republican candidate apparently not paying federal income tax for years.
