Central Point, Ore.- A 14-year-old student was taken to the hospital with minor injuries Monday morning after he was hit by a car while crossing the street.
The student was in a crosswalk at the intersection of Rock Way and Scenic Ave. when he was hit. His injuries were minor and he was taken to the hospital by his family.
The driver of the car told officers they were blinded by the sun. The were cited for failing to stop for a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
