Teen receives maximum sentence in stabbing case

henshawMedford, Ore. — A 19-year-old accused of taking part in the brutal stabbing of a family member pleaded guilty Tuesday. Eric Henshaw pleaded guilty to charges of attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, assault, and conspiracy to commit abuse of a corpse.

Police say Henshaw and Michael Koch-Prosser broke into a female family members home in January, and stabbed her multiple times. The District Attorney’s investigation revealed the pair planned to murder the woman and then have sex with her dead body.

Henshaw was sentenced Tuesday to the maximum sentence of 10 years in prison. Koch-Prosser received a 10 year sentence in September.
