Inaugural THC Fest held in Selma

SELMA, Ore. — The inaugural THC fest kicked off around 12 Saturday afternoon at Smoke on the Water Campground.

The one-day festival focused on hemp, cannabis, and everything marijuana with food vendors, music, and more.

A quarter of the proceeds from the event will be donated to families and victims of the Klondike fire.

THC officials say it’s one way they can give back to the community.

“Being able to put on a music festival with the conditions going on just 10 miles from us…its phenomenal but it’s also really touching.”  “We want to be sure to give back to the community that’s supporting us,” said Naomi Forkash, Director of THC Fest.

The event goes until 10 P.M. Saturday.

THC organizers say the event will be around next year.
