Travel Medford employees resigning

travel medfordMedford, Ore. — Two of Travel Medford’s top employees are resigning, as the Medford City Council continues to consider whether to extend it’s contract.

Senior Vice President Anne Jenkins, and Director of Branding and Marketing Jez Kline have both submitted their resignations effective this summer.

Currently, the Medford Chamber receives $750,000 from lodging taxes to pay for Travel Medford which promotes tourism. Some on the council have expressed concern about the contract, suggesting the two should separate.

It’s unclear if the resignations are linked to the contract dispute. The council is expected to vote on Thursday.
