Trump receives security briefing

(NBC News) — In an attempt to turn poll numbers around, Donald Trump has shaken up his troubled campaign leadership again Wednesday.

GOP insiders had been begging him to make a change, but ironically, Trump named a harsh critic of the Republican establishment to a top post.

Trump took that outsider attitude to his first formal national security briefing by CIA and US military officials Wednesday as well, saying he will not trust what he’s told.

Hillary Clinton is dealing with backlash from her email scandal again as House Republicans go through her FBI interview records to find discrepancies between it and her testimonies to Congress– something Republicans say could be a crime.
