(NBC News) Fourteen years after the world watched and mourned the September 11th attacks, grief remains at Ground Zero.
At 8:46 New York observed a citywide minute of silence marking the moment the first plane struck the World Trade Center’s North Tower.
Afterward a somber reading of the names of those lost marked the human toll of that day.
