US Bank employees giving back to the community

Medford, Ore. — Local bankers took a break from their desk jobs to wield paint brushes Monday morning in Medford

A couple dozen US Bank employees from all over Southern Oregon volunteered at Medford’s Habitat for Humanity Re-Store, giving the building a fresh coat of paint.

It’s just one local example of US Bank’s “Community Possible Relay” – a national effort to encourage volunteerism.

Community Possible Relay Coat Dixcy Sulistyo said, “38 cities, over 12 thousand miles to complete, these different volunteer activities to engage the community and activate all of these events to create a national movement.”

The Community Possible Relay bus will hit 25 states doing a random or planned act of service at each stop.

Medford was stop 12 on the list. It’s now headed north to Eugene, followed by Portland.
