Portland, Ore. – Video captured on the Columbia River west of Astoria shows what appears to be a shark attacking an injured seal.
Portland NBC affiliate KGW reports Josh Robb was crabbing with his father-in-law when they spotted the seal and blood in the water.
Rob pulled out his camera and started recording after they saw something swimming nearby trying to get to the seal.
“Finally you could see the fin come out of the water. I said, ‘holy cow, it’s a shark!’” Robb said.
The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife has not yet verified if the creature in the water is actually a shark
