Amazing rescue caught on camera in South Carolina

Lexington, S.C. (WIS) —  In the ultimate display of people helping people, a group of about 12 to 15 good Samaritans pulled over their cars on South Carolina’s Interstate 20 on Tuesday morning to help a man get out of an overturned car.

One of those rescuers, Louis Doleac, said he was heading to a meeting around 9:30 a.m. when he saw the car land near mile marker 56 after it flipped two or three times.

“Everybody stopped,” Doleac said. “Everybody wanted to get that guy out. Everybody wanted to save this guy’s life.”

Jonathan Janzen, the driver of the vehicle, is still in disbelief at how the whole thing happened.
