Bald eagle released following treatment at local wildlife rehab facility

BROOKINGS, Ore. – A young bald eagle is back in her natural habitat tonight after an incredible recovery at Wildlife Images in Grants Pass.

She was released in front of a crowd of onlookers Wednesday afternoon at Harris Beach State Park in Brookings.

The Bald Eagle came to the non-profit in July with suspected rodenticide poisoning.

When she got to the facility she was so weak she couldn’t stand.

Now, after months of rehab, the bird of prey is strong and healthy enough to be back in the wild.
