BUTTE FALLS, Ore. – UPDATE: The Jackson County Sheriff’s office has identified the body found in a ditch on Cobleigh Road Friday.
Police say 28-year-old Joseph Cody Baize is from Grants Pass but has previously lived in Kentucky.

A body was found Friday morning in Butte Falls and now the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
According to deputies, a body was found in a ditch on Cobleigh Road which is off of Butte Falls Highway.
Information right now is limited. However, we do know it’s being investigated as a suspicious death.
