Harney County, Ore. — A statement by Ammon Bundy, read by his attorney, asks protesters at the Malheur Wildlife Refuge to stand down. The statement read, in part, “I’m asking the Federal Government to allow the people of the refuge to go home without being prosecuted.” Bundy goes on to urge the protesters to “Please stand down.
