Calm returns to Milwaukee

NC_milwaukeeprotestsa0816_1500x845Milwaukee, Wisc. (WTMJ) — The tension in Milwaukee’s Sherman Park neighborhood quieted down Monday night after two consecutive nights of unrest.

Police Chief Ed Flynn said that six people were arrested earlier in the night, but no violence broke out.

A total of 37 people have been arrested since Saturday night.

Barricades were erected around Sherman Park, which was closed from 6 PM to 6 AM.
