Candidates court military vote

NC_campaignam_1500x845(NBC News) — Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump take part in a first of its kind “Commander In Chief” forum Wednesday night on NBC, where they’ll answer questions about national security, the military and veterans.

The presidential candidates won’t debate, but will instead make back-to-back appearance.

A coin toss determined the order, with Clinton first and Trump following.

Clinton is currently six points ahead in NBC’s latest polls, but trails by two in a survey conducted by CNN.

That has some supporters expressing concern.

“Worried Democrats would like to see Hillary Clinton out there every day, not just tearing down Donald Trump, but selling herself to the American people,” say Bloomberg Politics Managing Editor Mark Halperin.
