CAMAS VALLEY, Ore. – A Douglas County man is in jail charged with sexually abusing a child.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said they were made aware of the alleged abuse in late November.
According to detectives, they eventually determined 37-year-old Jeffrey Aaron Herberger of Camas Valley sexually assaulted a minor known to him.
Herberger was arrested on December 11 after being interviewed by detectives. He was lodged in the Douglas County Jail for sexual abuse and harassment.
