Eagle Point man runs 170 miles for local non-profits

Over the course of 2 and a half days, Rob Wilson ran from the Nevada-California border to White City, raising money for Gamerosity, the Southern Oregon Epilepsy Group and the Phoenix cross country team.

More than $5,000 was raised– $4,000 for Gamerosity alone — and the executive director says he couldn’t be more thankful.

“It’s been cool to see how other people have taken this small, community idea, of just coming together to support kids with cancer and have made it their own,” Manny Munoz says.

That money will help to fund 4 hero packages for kids fighting cancer.

Rob is feeling pretty beat up today but he tells NBC5 News it was all worth it. If you’d like to donate to Gamerosity click HERE, or click HERE to contribute to the overall fundraising campaign..
