‘Era of Megafires’ presentation focuses on history of wildfires

GRANTS PASS, Ore. — A presentation on the history of wildfires will be making stops in both Josephine and Jackson counties this week.

The ‘Era of Megafires’ will be shown in Grants Pass Wednesday night, at the Center at the Lodge at Riverside. It will be in Medford Thursday night at the Smullin Center.

Doors open both nights at 6:15 p.m. and the presentation will start at 7. Dr. Paul Hessberg will cover the last 120 years of wildfires in America, and their impacts.
