Families celebrate fall at Seven Oaks Farm

Central Point, Ore. — Hay rides, pumpkins, and petting zoos, it was all about fall today at Seven Oaks farm in Central Point.

Every weekend in October, Seven Oaks farm is open for business with fun fall favorites.

Hundreds of families came out today to get pumpkins, ride a pony and take a hay ride.

Owner Jerry Mefford says it’s great to see families enjoying the season, “Just seeing all the little kids having a great time, you know. We kind of cater to the little kids and they seem to have the most fun, so it’s just kind of a family event where everyone can come out and get their pumpkins.”

The farm also has face painting, a dark maze for the little ones and Umpqua ice cream.

The weekend events take place both Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. They’re also open during the week, Wednesday through Friday.
