Tip-a-Cop returns to Red Robin, raising money for Special Olympics

Medford, Ore. — Law enforcement officers from across the Rogue Valley traded in their handcuffs for menus today during the annual Tip-a-Cop event in Medford.

Deputies from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and officers from the Medford Police Department joined the wait staff at Red Robin today.

It was all for the 10th annual Tip-a-Cop event, raising money for Special Olympics of Oregon.

“All tips that we collect go to Special Olympics Oregon to make sure that any athlete that wants to play in the games can play in the games,” said Sgt Christine Bronson with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers are still waiting tables right now, so you can head on down for dinner and support the cause.

All tips collected until 8 pm will be going directly to Oregon’s Special Olympics.
