Foundations For Recovery

09-07-ffrMedford, Ore., — “Foundations For Recovery” is hosting its third annual “Drive Out Drugs Recovery Festival” Friday and Saturday at the Harry and David fields in Medford.

The festival includes 18 agencies from the valley who will compete in a “Guns vs. Hoses” softball tournament.

This year there will also be a carnival.

The idea is to bring the community together to show how everyone plays a part in keeping drugs off our streets.

“If we’re gonna treat the individual, we want to also help and support the family. Thus the family fun event of having the festival each year, we’re all in this together type thing.” said Executive Director, Doug Gould.

The softball tournament kicks off at 6 pm on Friday and the carnival starts at 9 Saturday morning.

There will also be special guests from Spartan Boxing.

Entry is free and everyone gets a hot dog and a drink when they come.
