Grants Pass woman rescued from well

Glendale, Ore. — A Grants Pass woman was rescued from a 40 to 50 foot deep well in Douglas County.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says the woman was rescued Monday in Glendale by firefighters and members of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office after they attached a rope to the woman and pulled her up.

Deputies say the woman was in the well for about four hours and was hypothermic, but in good condition.
