Josephine Co. Fair kicks off

Grants Pass, Ore.–  “It’s so much fun!  There’s so many rides and there’s a cotton candy machine!,” exclaims Sierra joined by her little sister.

There’s lots to love at the Josephine County Fair this year!  Food vendors, midway games, the livestock barn and the carnival rides opened at 10 o’clock Wednesday morning, giving fairgoers a lot to look forward to.

“We have mutton busting over in the arena,” says Peggy Anderson, director of the fair.  “And then right across from there we have the ‘Legendary Longhorned Steers’ which are a great draw and they are just gentle giants.”

From live music, the petting zoo, to livestock, and rides for the thrill seekers, there’s something for everyone.
