Grants Pass, Ore., — The race for the second open seat in Josephine County — position three– was almost won in the spring.
This is current commissioner Cherryl Walker’s seat, she’s decided not to seek reelection.
Lily Morgan garnered more than 46-percent of the vote in May.
Tonight it’s Morgan in the lead with 60 percent of the vote.
“Humbled by the support of the community, and really excited that we get to get to work, and keep saying what is great about Josephine County.” said Morgan.
Morgan says she is already getting started and is off to a new commissioner retreat next week.
