Grants Pass, Ore., — Commissioner Keith Heck looking to hold on to his seat on the Josephine County Board of Commissioners.
Heck is being challenged by Grants Pass City Council President Dan Deyoung.
The two were separated by a close margin in May.
Tonight, Dan Deyoung took the lead and is looking forward to getting started.
“This is a great relief to me, this has been a really long and hard campaign. I’ve had my arms around the city for the last 7 years on the city council, and now I want to expand that into the county.” said Deyoung.
The final numbers are not yet in, but at this point the lead is with Dan Deyoung.
