Clackamas County, Ore. – A Milwaukie, Oregon man was arrested after police say he called 911 to report that he had shot his tenant.
Police said at around 10:30 Sunday morning, 66-year-old Gerald Lee Miller called 911 and told dispatchers he had shot his male tenant. When deputies arrived at the home in unincorporated Milwaukie, Miller was taken into custody without incident.
Deputies said the victim, whose name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, was found dead inside the house shortly after they arrived.
The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office said Miller was arrested and charged with murder and manslaughter in the first degree.
