Local Democrats mount write-in campaign for Mike Moran

Medford, Ore. – A retired police chief and former Medford School District Board of Directors member is the subject of a write-in campaign for State Representative, House District 6.

The Jackson County Democratic Party is mounting the campaign on behalf of Moran. ““Mike is eminently qualified for this position,” said Jackson County Democrats Chair, David Roadman.

If Moran receives the Democratic nomination, he will run against Republican incumbent Sal Esquivel in November.

Moran has spent forty years serving Southern Oregon, 29 of them in various assignments with the Medford Police before serving as the Talent Police Chief. Before becoming an officer, Chief Moran worked at NBC5 News in master control.
