Alist of proposed state-wide lay-offs has grown shorter.
Originally, 190 government positions were proposed to be cut.
After 5 hours of deliberation, Oregon lawmakers brought the total down to around 170 out of the states 35,000 workers.
The lay-offs, effective July 1, will be mostly mid-level managers.
