The Ashland Film Festival means more people and more business for the city of Ashland.
Staff at the Ashland Springs Hotel say they’ve been full all weekend long. They say they’re glad to see a boost in business.
“Keeps levels up that’s always good, brings more people into the community not just for the festival but other businesses as well and just generates repeat business for us, a lot of people come for the festival and then end up coming back for the Shakespeare Festival later on,” said Craig Stephens.
Other nearby businesses say they are also seeing an uptick in sales as festival goers explore the Ashland area.
